What are your rates and how do you charge?

Do you provide support after a grant is awarded?
Yes. The Grant Story Impact Annual Retainer package provides ongoing grant management support, which includes compliance guidance, reporting reminders, funder liaison support, troubleshooting, and post award management.
Why don't you offer grant writing A La Carte?
At Grant Story Consulting, we believe successful grant funding starts with a strong foundation—not just a strong application. That’s why we don’t offer grant writing as an a la carte service. Writing one grant proposal may address an immediate need, but it doesn’t necessarily address the bigger picture: Is your organization grant ready? Are you pursuing the right funding opportunities? Is your story positioned effectively? Do you have the systems and tools in place to pursue and manage grants confidently? We’re not just here to help you win one grant, we’re here to help you build the foundation to pursue funding for the long term.
Is grant funding guaranteed?
While we cannot guarantee funding as the final decision rests with the funder, we significantly increase your competitiveness through strategic alignment and professional writing.
Do you work on commission or accept a percentage of grant awards?
No. Grant Story Consulting does not accept commission-based compensation based on a percentage of grant funds received. This practice is considered unethical in the grant profession. Fees are based only on the services we provide, regardless of the grant application outcome.
What happens if a grant application is denied?
Grant funding is highly competitive, and even strong applications are not always funded. If an application is declined, we help evaluate available feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend additional funding opportunities as they open.
